Run your first assessment
Create a workspace, register a target and review your first security findings.
Before you begin
Test only targets your organization owns or has written permission to assess. Your account must have permission to manage assets and start assessments.
Register and assess a target
Start from Asset inventory in your workspace.
- Choose Add asset, then select the asset type and enter its name and target.
- Confirm authorization and save the asset.
- Choose an assessment type on the asset row, then select Run assessment.
- When the assessment completes, select View findings to open that scan's results.
Understand coverage
A completed scan reports the checks it could perform, not a guarantee that an asset is secure. Review coverage, evidence and errors before drawing conclusions.
